Ingredients
1 c. light sodium soy sauce, organic or regular
1 c. H-E-B White Wine Vinegar
5 H-E-B Ready, Fresh, Go!® Garlic Cloves, chopped
1 Tbsp. fresh cracked black pepper
3 Central Market® Organics Bay Leaves or regular Bay Leaves
2 (4 pounds each) Central Market™ Organics Air Chilled Whole Chicken
or 2 Hill Country Fare Whole Chicken, each cut into 8 pieces
Directions
Combine soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, pepper, and bay leaves in a large saucepot
and bring t
o a boil. Reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes.
Combine hot soy mixture and chicken parts in Crock-Pot, cover, and cook on
low for 6 to 8
hours.
Perfect with H-E-B Select Steamable White Rice or brown rice! Add gravy
from Crock-Pot for
more flavor if desired.
