Harvest Grain Cinnamon Cookies
3/4 c. H-E-B Butter, softened
1/4 c. H-E-B Brown Sugar
1/4 c. Hill Country Fare 0 Calorie Sugar Replacement
1 large H-E-B Egg Yolk
1 c. H-E-B Baker's Scoop All Purpose Flour
3/4 c. H-E-B Baker's Scoop Whole Wheat Flour
3/4 tsp. Hill Country Fare Baking Powder
1/8 tsp. H-E-B Salt
* Dusting Sugar:
1/2 c. H-E-B Powder Sugar
1 tsp. Hill Country Fare Ground Cinnamon
Combine the butter, brown sugar, 0 Calorie Sugar Replacement, and egg yolk in a mixer bowl
. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes. Add the flour, baking powder,
and salt and beat 1 more minute or until a dough forms.
Place the dough in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Set out 2 ungreased cookie sheet pans.
Roll the dough out on a floured surface to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut out cookies and place
on the ungreased cookie sheet pans. Bake the cookies 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are l
ightly browned. Place cookies on wire racks and dust with the powder sugar cinnamon mixtur
e. Cool cookies completely.
