6 firm ripe red pears, or your favorite variety
½ c. Muscat Canelli Dessert Wine
6 Tbsp. H-E-B Blossom Honey
2 Tbsp. H-E-B Brown Sugar
¼ c. H-E-B Heavy Whipping Cream or H-E-B Flavored Coffee Creamer (optional)
Cut pears in half and scoop out core. Combine pear halves
with wine in a zipper bag. Marin
ate for 1 hour.
Heat oven to 450°F. Cut a small slice from the bottom of
each pear to keep it upright and
place in a 9" x 13" baking
dish. Fill each pear with 1 tablespoon honey and remaining
nade. Sprinkle each pear with 1 teaspoon of brown sugar.
Bake for 20 minutes or until tend
er but not mushy.
