Texas Style Baby Back Ribs
2 racks baby back ribs
14 Oz. Franklin Texas Barbecue Sauce
1 rib grilling rack
1 small bag H-E-B Mesquite Briquets
1 H-E-B Mesquite Wood Chips, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Brush the Baby Back Ribs with the H-E-B Texas
BBQ Sauce and place on a tray and set aside.
Stack 5 cups of the mesquite briquets on the
opposite side of the grill bottom and light.

gas grill on low (burners on one
side only) and
place as many soaked mesquite wood chips in the
smoker box. If using a gas
grill, see your grill
manufacturer’s instructions for smoking and make
sure you have a ful
l tank of gas before you start.
Place the 2 racks of ribs on the rib grilling rack and
place on the grill rack away from
the coals or gas
burner. This is an indirect method of cooking as
the ribs are placed away
from the heat source.
Cover the grill and smoke the ribs for 1 1/2 hours,
adding 8 to 10
briquets and 1 cup of soaked
wood chips every 30 minutes or as needed to keep
the slow smo
king fire going.

platter and serve.
