1/3 c. Rasins
1/3 c. Chopped nuts
3 Tbsp. Firmly packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp. Butter
Wash and core apples about half way down leaving the bottom attached. Remove 1 inch of pe
el around top.
In small bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
Fill center of each apple with 2 tablespoons of mixture.
GRILLING METHOD: Wrap each apple in heavy duty foil. Place apple packets on grill 4 to 6
inches from hot coals and cook about 10 minutes or until tender.
BAKING METHOD: Bake at 350 degrees F for approximately 45 minutes for medium soft, 1 hour
for soft apples. For extra steam, you may want to place a pan of water on the bottom rack
