Sausage And Spinach Pizzas
10 to 15 minutes
16 ounces H-E-B hot or mild Italian sausage (4 links), uncooked
2 Boboli thin pizza crusts
1 tablespoon olive oil
8 ounces sliced mushrooms
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 (6 ounce) packages baby spinach
1 (16 ounce) carton marinara sauce
8 ounces feta cheese
Heat oven to 450 degrees.
Meanwhile, heat a large nonstick skillet over Medium-High heat. Squeeze sausage from casin
gs into skillet. Cook sausage 5 minutes or until barely pink; break sausage into small bit
s with the edge of a spoon during cooking.
Add oil to skillet, then add mushrooms and garlic; Sautèacute; with sausage about 5 more m
inutes, or until mushrooms are tender and sausage is no longer pink. Add spinach; stir 30
to 60 seconds to wilt. Remove skillet from heat.
Spread marinara sauce evenly over pizza crusts. Top with sausage and spinach mixture, then
sprinkle pizzas evenly with cheese.
Bake pizzas in bottom half of oven 10 to 15 minutes, or until cheese melts and browns. Let
stand 2 minutes, cut into wedges and serve while hot
