Grilled Steak & Rice Salad
2 cups H-E-B Instant Long-Grain Rice
8 ounces boneless beef steak
1 cup H-E-B Pepper Brandy, Original OR Chorizo Barbecue Sauce
1 tablespoon Hill Country Fare Canola Oil
1/2 cup H-E-B Ready, Fresh, Go! 3-Color Peppers
2 green onions, chopped
Prepare the instant long-grain rice according to package directions; cool and set aside. P
repare charcoal or gass grill for cooking (375 degrees F).
Grill steak 8 minutes per side, basting with 1/2 cup of barbecue sauce as it cooks. Remove
from grill and cool 10 minutes. Thin-slice the meat and set aside.
Combine remaining 1/2 cup of the H-E-B Barbecue Sauce with the oil; set aside.
Combine cooked rice, sliced beef, peppers, onions,and sauce in a large salad bowl; toss to
