Cut the chicken breasts into 3 parts and the thighs in half. Combine chicken and the BBQ m
arinade in a large plastic zippered bag and toss the chicken to cot well with the marinade
. Marinate in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours, turning bag over every 30 minutes.
Prepare charcoal or gas grill for low-heat cooking (300 degrees F). Thread the marinated c
hicken pieces on metal skewers and place on grill. Grill chicken with grill cover closed.
Cook slowly for 20 minutes on each side. Baste chicken with melted butter as it cooks.
