1 cup sugar

1 (14 oz.) can Lalechera Sweetened Condensed Milk

1 (12 oz.) can evaporated skim milk

5 eggs, beaten

3/4 cup coconut

1 cup orange Juice


Heat oven to 325 degrees F.
Cook sugar in a small skillet over medium high heat, stirring occasionally, until melted a
nd golden in color.
Pour caramelized sugar into a 9x13-inch baking dish and tilt dish so that caramelized suga
r is evenly spread; set aside.
Caramelized sugar will crackle as it cools.
Combine condensed milk, evaporated skim milk, eggs, coconut, and orange juice in a large b
owl: stir well.
Pour custard mixture into caramel coated baking dish and place inside a larger baking dish
Fill outside baking dish halfway with water and place in center oven rack.
Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center of the flan comes o
ut clean.
Carefully, remove flan dish from hot water bath and cool on a rack.
Chill thoroughly before serving
