Strawberry Angel Food Cake
1 (8 oz) tub Hill Country Fare Whipped Topping, regular or light
2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
2 tablespoons granulated sugar or sugar substitute equivalent
1 loaf angel food cake
Thaw Hill Country Fare Whipped Topping in container overnight in refrigerator or set out o
n counter top for 1 hour.
Combine sliced strawberries and sugar in a bowl, cover and refrigerate.
Cut cake into two layers lengthwise. Place half of cake on cake platter. Spread 1/2 of whi
pped topping on the top and sides of cake. Arrange 1/2 of the sliced strawberries on the t
op and sides of the iced cake. Top the iced cake with the other cake half and apply the re
maining whipped toping and strawberries. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve
