Mexican Chocolate Apple Cake
1 (18.25 oz) box Hill Country Fare White Cake Mix
3 egg whites
1/2 cup H-E-B Crema Fresca or heavy whipping cream
1 cup Hill Country Fare Applesauce
4 (2.6 oz) squares Nestle Abuelita Chocolate Tablets, coarsely chopped
1 can Hill Country Fare Sweetened Condensed Milk
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Heavily spray a bundt pan with non-stick cooking spray or grease
with softened margarine and dust with 2 tablespoons flour; shake out excess.
Combine cake mix, egg whites, cream, applesauce and 1/2 cup water in a large mixing bowl.
Mix for 2 minutes on medium speed with an electric mixer. Stir in chopped chocolate. Pour
cake batter into prepared bundt cake pan and bake for 45 minutes or until cake is done. Le
t cake cool completely in pan on cake rack.
Remove cake from pan and place on cake plate. Drizzle cake with sweetened condensed milk
