Ice Cream With Balsamic Syrup
1/4 cup Aged Monari Balsamic Vinegar
1/4 cup H-E-B Brown Sugar
4 cups H-E-B Creamy Creations Vanilla Ice Cream
1 (8 oz.) cntr. Hill Country Fare Sweetened Sliced Strawberries
Place balsamic vinegar in a 1-quart saucepot and heat over low heat for 3 minutes. Gradual
ly add the brown sugar to the heated vinegar and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Allow
the syrup to cook on low heat for 15 minutes. Cool syrup to room temperature and place in
a small bowl.
Scoop vanilla ice cream into 6 dessert cups and top with 1 tablespoon Balsamic Syrup and 1
/4 cup sliced strawberries.
