Easter Bunny Cake

Ingredients

1 package Hill Country Fare Cake Mix: your favorite flavor

1 (16 ounce) container Hill Country Fare Creamy Frosting

1 teaspoon food coloring: your favorite color

1 cup Hill Country Fare Coconut Flakes

1/4 cup Hill Country Fare Jelly Beans, for eyes & nose

6 drinking straws, cut in half for whiskers

2 large Hill Country Fare Marshmallows, for tail

Directions


Prepare cake mix according to box directions, using two 8-inch round pans. Cool cakes and
set aside. Place icing in a small bowl and add your favorite Easter food coloring. Stir ic
ing well to blend color.
To make two bunny cakes: Cut each layer in half to form two semicircles. Frost in between
the two layers. Place cake layers with cut-side down to form the bunny body. Frost all sid
es of each bunny cake and sprinkle with coconut. Place bunny cakes next to each other on a
large serving tray.
Cut 4 tall triangles out of white or colored construction paper to make bunny ears. Cut a
small slit into cake to attach ears on upper front of bunny. On each bunny, place 2 red je
lly beans to create eyes and a pink jelly beans for the nose. Insert straws for whiskers.
Use marshmallow for bunny tail.
