1 1/2 cups H-E-B Granulated Sugar
2/3 cup (5 oz. can) Nestlé Carnation Evaporated Milk
2 Tablespoons H-E-B Butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups Hill Country Fare Miniature Marshmallows
1 1/2 cups (9 oz.) Nestlé Toll House Semi-sweet Chocolate Morsels
1/2 cup Hill Country Fare Pecans or Walnuts, chopped
1 teaspoon H-E-B the Baker's® Scoop Two Fold Vanilla Extract
Line an 8-inch square baking dish with foil and set aside.
Combine the sugar, evaporated milk, butter and salt in a medium, heavy-bottom saucepan. Br
ing the mixture to a full boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil the mixture, st
irring constantly, for 4 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
Stir in the marshmallows, chocolate morsels, nuts and vanilla extract. Stir fudge vigorous
ly for 1 minute or until marshmallows are melted. Pour fudge into the prepared pan and ref
rigerate for 2 hours or until firm. Lift fudge from pan and remove the foil. Cut fudge int
o 48 pieces.
NOTE: For Milk Chocolate Fudge: Substitute 1 3/4 cups (11.5 oz. package) Nestlé Toll
House Milk Chocolate Morsels for semi-sweet chocolate morsels.
For Butterscotch Fudge: Substitute 1 2/3 cups (11 oz. package) Nestlé Toll House Pean
ut Butterscotch Flavored Morsels for the semi-sweet morsels.
For Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge: Substitute 1 2/3 cups (11 oz. package) Nestlé Toll
House Peanut Butter & Milk Chocolate Morsels for semi-sweet chocolate morsels and 1/2
cup chopped peanuts for pecans or walnuts.
