Pork Chops with Peach Sauce

4 (4 oz.) center cut pork chops with bone (about ¼-inch thick)

• salt and pepper

¼ tsp. cayenne pepper

* no-stick cooking spray

¼ c. chopped shallots

2 H-E-B Ready, Fresh, Go!® Garlic Cloves, chopped

2 c. H-E-B Frozen Peach Slices

½ c. Central Market® Organics Low Sodium Chicken Broth

2 Tbsp. H-E-B Brown Sugar

2 thyme sprigs

3 Tbsp. white wine or bourbon

2 Tbsp. H-E-B Butter


Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper to taste. Heat
a large heavy-bottom skillet over high heat for 3 minutes. Spray hot
skillet with no-stick spray, add pork chops, brown on each side for 1
minute. Remove pork chops from pan, cover with foil, and keep warm.
Reduce heat to medium, add shallots and garlic, stir-fry for 2 minutes
. Add thawed peach slices and chicken broth to skillet, stir-fry for 2
minutes. Add brown sugar and thyme sprigs to skillet, cook 1 minute.
Add butter and wine or bourbon to the pan, cook 4 minutes. Discard thy
me sprigs and serve pork chops in the glazed peach sauce.
