Bacon Glazed Brussels Sprouts

1 tsp. olive oil

4 c. Brussels sprouts, trimmed, halved

• salt and pepper

1/3 c. shallot or sweet onion, finely chopped

1 Tbsp. butter

1/2 c. Central Market Organics Chicken Broth

1/2 c. Better than Good Bacon Jam


Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add Brussels sprouts and
season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring often, until well browned
in spots and beginning to soften, 5 - 7 minutes.
Reduce heat to low and add shallots and butter. Cook, stirring often,
until soft, about 3 minutes.
Add broth; increase heat and bring to a boil, scraping up browned bits
from bottom of pan. Reduce to medium-low and simmer until broth has e
vaporated, 1 - 2 minutes. Stir in Bacon Jam. Season to taste with salt
and pepper.
