2 large eggs, beaten
3 Tbsp. all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. Hill Country Fare 100% Whole Wheat Bread Crumbs
1 lb. beef milanesa
1/4 c. H-E-B Grated Parmesan Cheese
1/2 c. H-E-B Healthy Marinara Sauce
2 Tbsp. basil (optional, for garnish)
Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick cooking
spray. Set aside.
Set up 3 bowls: one with beaten eggs; one with flour seasoned with sal
t & pepper; and one with bread crumbs.
Dust meat with seasoned flour, dip in eggs, and coat in bread crumbs.
Lay beef milanesa on prepared pan and top with Parmesan cheese. Bake u
ntil cheese is golden, 8-10 minutes.
When beef is almost done, place marinara sauce in microwavable covered
dish and heat until warm, about 1 minute.
Remove beef from oven and top with marinara sauce. Garnish with basil
and serve warm.
