One Smart Chocolate Chip Cookie
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. H-E-B Canola Oil
3 Tbsp. H-E-B Unsalted Butter
1/2 c. sugar or sugar substitute equivalent
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 lg. egg
1 lg. egg white
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 c. H-E-B Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
3/4 c. semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
In a large bowl, beat together oil, butter, and sugars with an electri
c mixer. Add egg, egg white, and vanilla, beating until well combined.
Fold in oats, flour mixture, and chocolate chips. Cover and refrigera
te dough 15 minutes.
Place rounded teaspoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart on prepared baking
Bake, 10 minutes or until cookies are set and golden brown. Cool 5 min
utes on sheets; transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
