Spicy Ground Beef Tostadas

Ingredients

1 pkg. (16 oz.) H-E-B Extra Lean Ground Beef

1 Tbsp. Hill Country Fare Chili Powder

3 H-E-B Ready, Fresh, Go! Garlic Cloves, chopped

1 c. H-E-B Ready, Fresh, Go! Diced Onion

1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and chopped

1 large tomato, chopped

• salt & pepper

12 H-E-B Baked Corn Tostadas

4 c. shredded iceberg lettuce

1 bag (8 oz.) H-E-B Fat Free Cheddar Cheese

Directions


Heat a heavy bottom skillet over high heat 3 minutes. Spray skillet wi
th non-stick cooking spray, add ground beef and stir-fry 3 minutes. Ad
d chili powder, garlic and onions. Continue to cook 4 minutes or until
beef begins to brown. Add jalapeño and tomato. Reduce heat to
medium, cook 10 minutes, and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Everyone can make their own tostadas. To assemble, place 2 baked tosta
das on a plate and top with 1/2 cup shredded lettuce, 1/3 cup seasoned
beef and 1/4 cup shredded cheese.
