Let's Party Spinach Dip

Ingredients

4 slices H-E-B Thick Sliced Premium Bacon

1 c. yellow onion, diced

2 tsp. all-purpose flour

1 pkg. (16 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and dried

1 c. whole milk

1/2 c. sour cream

1 block (8 oz.) cream cheese

1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese, divided use

Directions


Preheat oven to 350°F. Chop bacon and cook in a large skillet over
medium heat about 10 minutes or until browned and crispy. Drain on pa
per towels.
Discard all but 1 Tablespoon drippings from pan; add onion and cook 8
to 10 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally. Add flour and co
ok 30 seconds. Add spinach,milk, sour cream, and cream cheese. Stir an
d cook until cream cheese melts. Stir in bacon and 1/4 cup Parmesan.
Transfer to a 1 1/2 quart casserole or baking dish; top with remaining
1/4 cup Parmesan and bake 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
