1 1/2 c. (8 oz.) Hill Country Fare Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

1/4 c. H-E-B Unsalted Butter

1/2 c. packed H-E-B Brown Sugar

3/4 c. H-E-B The Baker's Scoop All Purpose Flour

1/4 tsp. Hill Country Fare Baking Powder

1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper (optional)

1 tsp. H-E-B The Baker's Scoop Double Vanilla Extract

1/2 c. H-E-B Real Egg

1 c. chopped Hill Country Fare Walnut Pieces


Combine semi-sweet chocolate chips and butter in a sauce pan with a he
avy bottom and heat on medium until chocolate is melted (about 2 minut
es). Set mixture aside.
Combine brown sugar, flour, baking powder and cayenne pepper in a mixi
ng bowl. Stir chocolate mixture into flour mixture with an electric mi
xer on medium speed one minute. Add vanilla, Real Egg and chopped waln
uts to the brownie dough and beat one minute or until well blended. Co
ver bowl with plastic wrap and chill 30 minutes.
Heat oven to 350°F. Line 2 to 3 cookie sheets with foil and spray
with non stick cooking spray. Drop brownie dough by tablespoons on pre
pared cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Cool cookies on cookie she
et 2 minutes. Remove to rack for complete cooling.
