1 1/2 c. H-E-B The Baker's Scoop All Purpose Flour
2 1/2 tsp. Hill Country Fare Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. each: salt and fresh cracked black pepper
6 Tbsp. chilled H-E-B Butter, cut into slices
2 Tbsp. each: chopped fresh chives, basil, cilantro & mint
3/4 c. H-E-B Buttermilk
2 Tbsp. H-E-B Real Egg
Heat oven to 425°F.
Combine flour, baking powder, salt, pepper and butter chunks in a food
processor bowl and pulse 4-5 times until the texture is chunky. Add t
he herbs and pulse once. Add buttermilk and pulse twice. Transfer doug
h to a floured surface.
Lightly knead dough 1 minute and press into a circle with a 7-inch dia
meter. Use a 2-inch biscuit cutter and cut out biscuits. Press dough s
craps together into a circle 1/2 inch thick, cut into additional biscu
its. Brush biscuits with Real Egg and bake 15 minutes or until golden.
