Jalapeño Grilled Lamb Tortas
1 lb. ground boneless leg of lamb
1 c. H-E-B Ready, Fresh, Go!® Diced Sweet Onion
½ c. fresh chopped cilantro
1 fresh jalapeño pepper, seeded and chopped
4 bakery whole wheat bolillos
1 c. H-E-B Grated Cotija Cheese
2 H-E-B Fresher Lasting Jumbo Avocado Halves, thin sliced
Combine lamb, onion, cilantro, and jalapeño. Do not overmix or it will
tough. Shape into 4 patties 1 inch thick.
Heat gas or charcoal grill to medium 375°F to 400°F. Grill for 6 minut
turning once and cooking to desired degree of doneness (145ºF to 1
