Black Bean Soup with Sour Cream

2 cans (15 oz.) black beans

1/2 cup diced onions

1/2 cup diced ham

1 Tbsp. light olive oil

1 container (32 oz.) H-E-B Reduced Sodium Chicken Broth

2 tsp. H-E-B Texas Originals Borracho Beans Spice Blend

1 container (8 oz.) sour cream


Puree 1 can of black beans. Set aside.
Sauté onions and ham with olive oil in a 2 quart pot for 3 - 5
Add pureed beans and can of whole beans. Pour in chicken broth.
Add seasoning and boil for 15 - 20 minutes. Reduce heat and whisk in 8
ounces of sour cream.
