Ingredients

6 Tablespoons H-E-B unsalted butter

1 Tablespoons H-E-B Ready, Fresh Go! Diced onions

1/2 cup H-E-B the baker's® scoop all purpose flour'

3 cups Central Market™ Organics chicken broth

2 cups Cooked wild rice

1 cnt. H-E-B fully cooked shredded beef

1/2 cup Finely grated carrots

3 Tablespoons Chopped slivered almonds

1/2 teaspoon Salt (optional)

1 c. H-E-B Half & Half

2 Tablespoons Dry sherry (optional)

1/3 cup Minced parsley or chives

Directions


Melt butter in saucepan; saute onion until tender.
Blend in flour; gradually add chicken broth. Cook, stirring constantly
, until mixture comes to a boil.
Stir in rice, beef, carrots, almonds and salt; simmer about 5 minutes.
Blend in half and half and sherry; heat to serving temperature.*Garnis
h with minced parsley or chives.
