For appetizers, salads, omelets, or just by itself, nothing beats the sweet flavor of fresh steamed shrimp.
2 pounds raw shrimp in the shell
3 quarts water
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons Chef Geoffrey Michael's Cajun Breakdown
In a 3-quart pot, bring water and salt to a boil.
Add shrimp and bring back to a boil for 1 minute.
Place in closed container with Cajun Breakdown.
Shake and wait 15 minutes.
Serve hot or cold
