Texas Two-Step Chile Burgers
1 1/2 pounds Ground Beef Sirloin
1 1/4 cups Texas Two-Step Chili
1/2 cup diced sweet onion
2 Tablespoons Adams Reserve Diced Jalapeño, optional
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or 4 slices)
Combine sirloin with chili mix, onion and jalapeño, if desired; mix un
til well blended.
Form mixture into 4 patties for burgers. Cook burgers on the grill 5
to 6 minutes per side or on the stovetop over Medium heat. Brush with
additional chili after turning, if desired.
Cook beef thoroughly; center of burgers should reach an internal tempe
rature of 165°F.
Top with cheese; place burgers between buns. Add your favorite condi
ments or fixings, as desired.
