Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie
30 to 40 minutes
1 pound lean ground beef
1 cup large onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup original Bisquick
1 cup milk
1 medium tomato, sliced
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese or process American cheese (3 ounces)
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Spray pie plate, 9 x1 1/4 inches, with cooki
ng spray. Cook beef and onion in 10-inch skillet over medium heat, sti
rring with heatproof spatula or spoon to break beef into small pieces.
Cook until beef is brown; drain beef and onion in colander. Spread in
pie plate; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Stir Bisquick, milk and eggs in medium bowl, using fork, until blended
. Pour into plate.
Bake 25 minutes. Top with tomato slices. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 5
to 8 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes out clean
