Mccormick Bunny Cake

Ingredients

1 pkg. Betty Crocker cake mix any flavor

3 H-E-B large eggs

1/2 cup Hill Country Fare Canola Oil

1 box McCormick assorted neon! Food colors & egg dye

2 cans (16 oz.) Betty Crocker white frosting

1 pkg. (14 oz.) Mounds coconut flakes

1 pkg. each: Hill Country Fare chocolate drops, red licorice whips min
i gumdrops & marshmallows for decorating bunny

Directions


Heat oven to 350F. Heavily spray two, 9-inch round baking pans with no
n-stick cooking spray. Dust pans with 2 tablespoons flour; shake out e
xcess.
Combine cake mix, eggs, 1 1/3 cup water and oil in a large bowl. Beat
the cake batter with an electric mixer for 2 minutes at medium speedor
450 strokes by hand. Pour batter into prepared pans.
Bake the cake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center c
omes out clean. Cool cakes in pan on cooling rack at least 10 to 20 mi
nutes. Remove cake from pan and cool topside up on rack. Do not decora
te the cake until fully cooled.
Once cooled, use one cake for the face and cut ears and bowtie out of
the other. Assemble the Bunny on a foil covered cookie sheet pan.
Tint the white icing with the Neon color of your choice and frost the
cake. Use the small candies to form the eyes, nose and mouth. Tint the
coconut the same Neon color of the icing: For the Bunny, put 2 cups c
oconut in a zipper bag with 5 to 6 drops of the Bunny Neon color you c
hose. Shake the bag until the coconut is tinted to the right shade of
color. For the Grass,put 1 cup of coconut in a zipper bag with 5 drops
of the Green Neon color and shake the bag until the coconut is green.
Sprinkle the Bunny coconutover the icing and gently pat. Sprinkle the
green coconut around the base of the Bunny
