Ingredients

1 can (21 oz.) lucky leaf sweet cherry pie filling

1 cup All purpose biscuit mix

1 Tbsp. sugar

1/3 cup milk

1 container (8 oz.) Hill Country Fare whipped topping: regular or fat
free

Directions


Combine the pie filling and 1/2 cup water in a sauce pan and bring to
a boil over medium heat. Lower the heat to low and keep pie filling b
ubbling.
Combine the biscuit mix and sugar in a mixing bowl. Add the milk to th
e biscuit mixture and stir lightly into a dough. Drop the dough into t
he bubbling cherry filling by the tablespoonful. Cook the mixture unco
vered on low heat for 10 minutes. Cover the pan and cook covered on lo
w heat for 15 more minutes.
Serve the Cherry Dumplings warm and add a spoonful of whipped topping
