6 H-E-B Whole Wheat or 7 Grain Tortillas
2 small Granny Smith Apples, peeled, cored and chopped
4 packets H-E-B BetterSweet or 2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon Central Market™ Organics Ground Cinnamon
2 cups H-E-B Reduced Mexican Blend or Monterey Jack Cheese
6 tablespoons H-E-B Sabor Tradicional Cajeta Quemada
Heat oven to 450F. Line 2 large baking sheet pans with foil and spray
with nonstick cooking spray. Arrange 3 tortillas on each pan and pierc
e each with a fork. Bake for 8 minutes or until golden.
Meanwhile, combine apples, BetterSweet, cinnamon, and cheese in bowl a
nd toss to coat.
Top each tortilla with 1/2 cup apple mixture and drizzle with 1 tables
poon of cajeta. Bake tostadas for 5 minutes or until cheese melts. Cut
each tostada into 4 wedges and serve
