Corn Casserole With Chilies
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
1/4 cup whole, 2 %, or fat free milk
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 (15 oz.) cans whole kernal corn, drained
1 can (4 oz.) chopped green chilies
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
Heat oven to 350°F. Spray a 2-quart baking dish with non-stick coo
king spray; set aside.
Combine cream cheese, milk and margarine in a microwave-safe bowl. Mic
rowave on High power for 1 minute. Stir mixture until smooth.
Combine corn, green chiles, red pepper and garlic salt in prepared bak
ing dish. Season to taste with salt.
Add cream cheese mixture to corn and stir to combine. Bake uncovered f
or 25 to 30 minutes.
