Hawaiian Crunch Waffle Sticks
1/2 cup almond slivers or macadamian nuts
1/2 cup Hill Country Fare Shredded Coconut
3 cups Krusteaz Waffle Mix
2 H-E-B Eggs
1/4 cup Hill Country Fare Canola Oil
1 (11.5 oz) can Kerns Pineapple Coconut or Apricot Mango Juice
Heat Waffle Stix Maker according to manufacturer's directions.
Combine nuts and coconut in a food processor bowl and pulse the mixtur
e two times until mixture is coarsely chopped. Add Krusteaz Waffle Mix
, eggs, oil and juice. Pulse the waffle mixture 3 to 4 time until smoo
th with chunks of nuts and coconut.
Pour 2/3-cup Hawaiian Crunch Waffle batter into the heated waffle stix
maker. Cook the waffles 4 to 6 minutes until golden brown, or accordi
ng to waffle iron manufacturer´s instructions.
Serve with your favorite waffle syrup, tropical fruits or ice cream.
