25 to 30 minutes
1 tube refrigerated buttery biscuits
1 pound bacon, fried crisp, drained and crumbled
1 medium onion, diced
1 pound bulk sausage or 1 lb ground beef (or half of each)
1 doz. eggs, slightly beaten
2 cups milk
1 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
1/2 cup sliced jalapeno peppers (optional)
2 cups shredded Cheddar Cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Oil a baking sheet pan.
Separate biscuits and roll flat with rolling pin.
Press into prepared pan, on bottom and up sides to form crust.
Saute onion in bacon drippings.
Add sausage and/or ground beef and brown.
Drain thoroughly, blot with paper towel.
Spread meat and onion over crust.
Mix eggs with milk and pour over meat.
Top with mushrooms and jalapenos, if desired.
Spread cheese over top of all.
Bake until eggs are set and cheese is melted
