Hearty Black-Eyed Pea Dip

1 jar (1.12 lbs.) New Canaan Farms Hill Country Caviar

1 can (15 oz.) black-eyed peas, undrained

16 ozs. H-E-B EZ Melt Cheese

1 cup frozen H-E-B Seasoned Beef Crumbles

2 ripe roma tomatoes, finely chopped

1 can (4 ozs.) chopped green chiles


Drain and discard juice from Hill Country Caviar. Place “caviar” in a
3-quart pot; add black-eyed peas, including juice. Mash coarsely with
a fork or potato masher.
Cut cheese into 1-inch cubes. Place cheese cubes and frozen beef crumb
les in a microwave-safe dish; cover with a lid and heat in microwave u
ntil cheese melts. Stir mixture occasionally and rotate dish.
Meanwhile, chop tomatoes finely. Add tomatoes and green chilies to pot
with black-eyed peas. Stir over Medium heat. Add melted cheese and be
ef. Stir to combine and heat thoroughly. Serve hot
