Question: Can I begin using my card immediately?

Answer:

No. If you are a new hire, your card is not active. Register your card so you can take advantage of the regular Valued Partner Perks(VPP) discount, as well as additional benefits and special offers. Registering your card requires you to create a heb.com account with a valid email address. After you have set up your heb.com account, you must link your VPP card by providing your PeopleSoft ID and your VPP card number. Once registered, it will take 24 hours for your VPP card to be active and ready for use.


You should have received a copy of the terms and conditions along with your card, and when you use it, you are automatically agreeing to the terms as they have been outlined. If you ordered a card replacement or secondary card, your card is already active and ready to use.

Question: What will H-E-B do with this information I provide?

Answer:

By giving us this information, we will be able to notify you of additional special offers and free products that will be available to you throughout the year. We will also be able to send important updates about changes and critical deadlines associated with your benefits. Your personal information will not be sold or used in any other way.

Question: Do I only get one card?

Answer:

No. You can request one additional card for a member of your immediate family (parents, siblings and significant others) residing at your home address. The card will be mailed directly to him/her at your address within 3 to 4 weeks. Once you've registered your Valued Partner Perks card on heb.com, you can request an additional card on your heb.com account page.

Question: How do I manage my Valued Partner Perks cards (order a new card, replace a current card or order a secondary card)?

Answer:

If you registered your card prior to July 28, 2011, you will need to re-register your card by creating an heb.com account with a valid email address and linking your Valued Partner Perks (VPP) card by providing your PeopleSoft ID and your VPP card number. After you have re-registered your card, you can manage your cards once you log in to your heb.com account page.

Question: My card is broken or damaged, what do I do?

Answer:

You can order a replacement card once you log in to your heb.com account page or by calling the Partner Service Center at 210-938-7555 or 1-800-597-0653. Your card will remain active for 28 days, and your new card will arrive in 3 to 4 weeks. You will be charged $5 per card, which will automatically be deducted from your next paycheck.

Question: What happens if I lose my card?

Answer:

If you lose your card, you can order a replacement card once you log in to your heb.com account page or by calling the Partner Service Center at 210-938-7555 or 1-800-597-0653. You will be charged $5 per card, which will automatically be deducted from your next paycheck. Your card will be automatically deactivated and your new card will arrive in 3 to 4 weeks.

Question: What if I want to change the name on my card or my family member's card?

Answer:

If at any time you wish to change the name on your card, please contact the Partner Service Center at 210-938-7555 or 1-800-597-0653. This is considered a "replacement card" and a $5 fee will be assessed. If you'd like to change the name of the family member on the second card, you will need to log in to your heb.com account and go to manage your cards. This is considered a "replacement card" and the same $5 fee will be assessed.
