Salsa Bean Burgers

Salsa Bean Burgers

Ingredients:
4 frozen H-E-B Fully Cooked® Thick 'N Juicy Burgers
1 cup Hill Country Fare Refried Beans
1/2-1 cup fresh pico de gallo or salsa of your choice, as preferred
1 cup coarsely crushed H-E-B Corn Chips
4 slices H-E-B Natural Monterey Jack Cheese
4 Kaiser rolls or H-E-B Bake Shop Hamburger Buns

Directions:
1.Heat burgers according to package directions.

2.Combine beans with pico de gallo or salsa, according to taste preference. Heat mixture on stove top or in microwave until hot.

3.Spoon bean mixture evenly over each burger patty. Top with chips and cheese slices. Place burgers between buns; press tops down gently. Return to microwave briefly to melt cheese. Serve immediately.

For a zesty spread for your burger, combine 1/2 cup mayonnaise with a small can diced green chilis and spread mixture between buns.
