recipe categories / salads / fruit and vegetable Mexican Tropical Salad Courtesy of H-E-B Ingredients: 3 large NAVAL ORANGES*, peeled, thin sliced and cut in half 1 cup each: RED ONION & JICAMA, thin sliced 1/4 cup FRESH CILANTRO, chopped 4 cups SHREDDED ICEBERG LETTUCE 1 pkg (12 oz.) H-E-B FULLY COOKED CHICKEN FAJITAS 1/2 cup H-E-B ORANGE HABAÑERO DRESSING * Or you can substitute 6 small NAVAL ORANGES Directions: 1. Layer orange slices, red onion, jicama strips and cilantro in a large salad bowl. 2. Top salad with shredded lettuce and chicken fajitas. Cover salad with plastic wrap and chill until ready to serve. 3. Before serving, drizzle H-E-B Orange Habañero Dressing over salad and toss to coat ingredients. |
