recipe categories / meats / beef / ground beef Horseradish Burgers Ingredients: 2 pounds Ground Beef; regular, lean, chuck or sirloin 2 Tbsp H-E-B Steak Sauce 3/4 tsp Seasoned Salt 1 pkg (3 oz.) Cream Cheese 1 to 2 Tbsp Prepared Horseradish 1 tsp Mustard, Regular or Dijon 6 H-E-B Hamburger Buns Lettuce, Tomato, Onion & Pickles Directions: 1. Combine ground beef, steak sauce & seasoned salt in a large bowl; toss lightly to mix. Shape into 12 patties and set aside on a foil lined baking sheet. 2. Combine cream cheese, prepared horseradish and mustard in a small bowl and mix well. Spread 1 1/2 Tablespoons of cream cheese mixture in the center of 6 of the beef patties. Top each cream cheese patty with remaining patties; press & seal the edges. 3. Spray grill rack with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking. Prepare charcoal or gas grill for cooking (375°F). Place beef patties on grill rack. Cook each side for 6 to 8 minutes or until fully cooked.* Serve on buns with lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles. *The internal temperature of the beef patties should reach 160°F. |
