Texas Originals Smokey Bacon Burgers

Ingredients:
1 bag frozen H-E-B Texas Originals Jalapeño or Cheddar Beef Patties
1 pound H-E-B Fully Cooked Bacon, optional
1 large sweet onion
Fischer & Wieser® Texas 1015 Onion Glaze
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup Fischer & Weiser® Smokey Mesquite Mustard
hamburger buns or Kaiser rolls
lettuce leaves & sliced tomatoes

Directions:
1. Heat charcoal 30 minutes until covered with a light layer of gray ash or heat gas grill on High 10 minutes with lid closed.
2. Cut onions into 1/4-inch thick slices. Split buns or rolls.
3. Place onions on grill. Cook 5 minutes per side; baste generously with Texas 1015 Onion Glaze. Turn and baste again; cook to desired doneness. Grill patties according to package directions. Place buns around perimeter of grill to heat.
4. Heat bacon on grill 1 to 2 minutes per side or heat in microwave according to package directions.
5. Spread mayonnaise and mustard on buns. Place patties, bacon, onion, lettuce, and tomato slices between buns. Serve immediately.
