recipe categories / appetizers / dips and spreads  Fiery Fiesta Dip Courtesy of H-E-B Cream cheese and sour cream combined with the fiery character of H-E-B Habanero Salsa Picante creates a festive dip for any occasion. Ingredients: 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, regular or low fat, softened 1/2 cup sour cream, regular or low fat 1/2 cup H-E-B Habanero Salsa Picante 1/2 cup chopped green onions 1/2 cup chopped celery 1/2 cup shredded colby jack cheese 1/4 cup chopped pecans Directions: Place cream cheese in a medium bowl and microwave on High power for 1 minute to soften. Add sour cream and stir until smooth and free of lumps. Add salsa, green onion, celery, cheese and pecans. Stir mixture to combine. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve. |
