recipe categories / meats / beef / steaks Orange-Pepper Beef Steaks Courtesy of National Cattlemen´s Beef Association Ingredients: 4 beef tenderloin steaks (1 pound), cut 1 inch thick 1/2 cup orange marmalade 4 teaspoons cider vinegar 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 2 teaspoons coarse grind black pepper Directions: 1. Combine marmalade, vinegar and ginger in small bowl. Press pepper onto beef steaks. 2. Place steaks on rack in broiler pan so surface of beef is 2 to 3 inches from heat. Brush tops of steaks with marmalade mixture. Broil 13 to 16 minutes for medium-rare to medium doneness, turning once and brushing with remaining marmalade mixture. |
