H-E-B contributes only to non-profit organizations that maintain an IRS 501(c)(3) designation and that operate within the immediate H-E-B marketing area. H-E-B favors activities over providing funding for physical plant investment, projects and causes that make a visible and positive difference.

H-E-B may contribute either product or cash, depending on the need. Causes we fund include but are not limited to education, hunger awareness, economic opportunity development, recreation, research and the arts.

To apply for support under H-E-B's Community Investment Program, please do the following:

Put together a package that includes—

A written proposal or letter of request on your organization's letterhead.

Proof of IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit status.

A completed Community Investment Program Application. To do this, you can either:

Fill out an MS Word form file. Save it. Then print it.

Or

Print out a blank application form (PDF format) and fill it out by hand. Learn more about printing out .pdf format documents.

Send the completed package by U.S. mail to:
